Services

Worship at St. Paul's is God-honoring, Christ-centered, and Word- and Sacrament-based.  We desire to “speak the heart language” of all who come to worship the Lord. To that end, we have several styles of worship service here at St. Paul's.

ONE Combined Service in the Sanctuary
October 6 at 10:45 am

Traditional Worship

Sunday 8:15 am

in the Sanctuary

Our Traditional Worship is a celebration that uses the great hymns and liturgy of the church and includes time for joyous praise, personal reflection, prayer, confession and forgiveness of sin. The Good News of the Gospel is presented each week as we actively turn our hearts toward God in earnest praise of His great works. He in turn speaks to us and blesses us with His healing and renewing touch.

.

Holy Communion is celebrated the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.

This service is also livestreamed on Facebook at 8:15am and can be viewed anytime thereafter

and broadcast by Radio WZDK 98.5 FM at 10:00am.

CrossLife* Praise and Worship

Sunday 10:45 am

in the ARC (gym)

Every Sunday at 10:45 am, we celebrate this life God has given us in Christ with joyful music, the spoken Word, prayer, confession forgiveness of sin and the Good News of the Gospel in a relaxed setting.  CrossLife is led by Pastor and the St Paul’s Praise Band.  Dress casual, bring your coffee, and join others who love the Lord and love worshiping Him.

Holy Communion is celebrated the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.

God's Place Youth Worship

Wednesday 4:00 pm in the Sanctuary

(10:00 am during the Summer)

God's Place is a safe place for all God's kids! Our youth ring the bell, light the candles, read the Scriptures, serve as ushers, and worship the Lord with praise and dancing!  Pastor Kretschmar preaches, and everyone is invited to celebrate what God is doing in the lives of His kids!

* In John 5:24, Jesus tells us that “whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.” CrossLife takes its name from those words of Christ...as His children we have crossed over to life, all because of the cross where our life with Him begins.

The Colors of the Liturgical Seasons

Color. Color is everywhere. Color is God's way of filling his world with beauty and giving pleasure to those who live in this colorful world. Christians, for centuries, have used color in divine worship to emphasize the redemptive action of God through his Son.  Click here for an explanation of the Colors used in Worship.
